The start of the new basketball season was presented in the Palace of Sports in Kyiv

On the eve of the Super Cup match between Prometey and Budivelnyk, the traditional presentation of the new basketball season took place in the Palace of Sports. This time12 teams will play in the Super League, that is, one more than in the last championship. Kryvbas (Kryvyi Rih) joined the participants.

The presentation of the season itself was bright and vivid, thus declaring the to make the new championship even more interesting and spectacular. At the beginning of the event, freestylers performed, as well as girls from the dance studio ReD FOXES. As part of the event, cooperation with the general sponsor of the Super League and national teams of Ukraine was presented byParimatch Ukraine .

Participants of the presentation noted that they plan to develop broadcasts of matches on YouTube, as well as more often to please fans with interesting content. But the main goal is to increase the number of fans in the stands.

President of BFU Mykhailo Brodsky commented on Ukraine’s application to host the 2025 Eurobasket. He said that our country will need to build two halls by December 2024, for 15 and 10 thousand spectators. A decision will soon be made as to where the new arenas may appear.

President of the Basketball Federation of Ukraine Mykhailo Brodsky shared his impressions from the presentation of the season:

We have never started the season so brightly. I love basketball very much and I want this game to be watched all over Ukraine. That’s why we do everything to attract the attention of fans and compete with other sports.

The players agreed with the president, and the representatives of “Prometey” and “Budivelnyk” who will soon play in the Palace of Sports admitted that they cannot wait for the game for the Super Cup.

Head of Sponsorship Parimatch Ukraine Philip Orlov spoke no less emotionally and stated his ambitions:

We are happy to be on the basketball team and help this sport, especially in the regions. I think this year will be a turning point in basketball. Together with BFU we can do a lot of interesting things. We want basketball to be in every city.
