Karine Papikyan

Biography
Karine joined the Parimatch Ukraine team in June 2020. During this time she succeeded to create an effective system of recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, to increase the involvement of the team and to bring communication within the company to a fundamentally new level – to introduce a culture of open and trusting communication of top management with employees.
Karine and her HR team also updated the principles of onboarding and, in fact, training programs, introduced new attractive benefits, conducted performance and salary reviews, and introduced regular team meetings in the format of ALL Hands and Meetups. Exactly effective and rapid expansion of the team with low staff turnover was the best result of the chosen strategy.
Prior to Parimatch, Karine worked for more than 12 years as a full-time specialist and external HR consultant in the field of retail, digital marketing and information technology. This experience allowed us to implement leading staffing practices and create an inclusive talent ecosystem in Parimatch Ukraine, where each team member is constantly evolving while remaining one.
Karine lived in Armenia and the United States for some time: the relocation not only helped to improve her knowledge of Armenian and English, but also provided an opportunity to build a strong international network and expand the circle of professional acquaintances. In addition, Karine took an active part in the Birthright Armenia volunteer internship programs.
Education
Karine has a specialized education in personnel management and labor economics. She also pumps knowledge in the following two programs – ICAgile Certified Professional and DISC Behavioral styles (EY Academy of Business).
Hobby
Karine improves her knowledge of the Armenian language, researches the traditions and culture of her people. Also engaged in active cardio and swimming.
