Parimatch Ukraine and FC Chelsea have launched a new advertising campaign

Parimatch Ukraine, the first licensed online bookmaker in Ukraine, has launched an advertising campaign starring Chelsea stars Marcos Alonso, Cesar Aspilicueta and Tiago Silva.

The commercial with the participation of FC Chelsea – partners of Parimatch Ukraine and winners of the Champions League 2020/21 – was shot by the Kyiv studio Electric Sheep Film. “The Chosen Ones” campaign was based on the legends of King Arthur, namely “The Sword in the Stone”.

Kateryna Amirkhanova, creative director of Parimatch Tech shared the idea of a new advertising campaign:

The legends of King Arthur have been a universal source of inspiration for centuries, and we are happy that Chelsea have volunteered to explore them with us in a new video. The idea of the campaign is to intertwine past, present and future, and according to the plot, the players of Chelsea FC become “chosen ones” – a fitting title for the current European champions. It is always a great pleasure to work with Chelsea, and we are looking forward to new victories for the club this season.

Chelsea FC and the Parimatch brand have announced the signing of a partnership agreement in August this year, the agreement is for three seasons. As part of the partnership, Parimatch uses the Chelsea brand and a wide range of digital, social and logistics tools to create innovative campaigns and activations around the world.

Guy Lawrence, CEO of Chelsea, also commented on the launch of advertising featuring players:

Earlier this season, when we signed a partnership agreement with Parimatch, we promised that future joint campaigns would be filled with courage and innovation. The new commercial is a proof that we have kept our word. In the coming months, Cesar, Thiago and Marcos from all over Europe will show that they are truly “the chosen ones”.

Andriy Kopots became the director and executive producer of the new campaign. And the cameraman is Nikita Kuzmenko.

Electric Sheep Film has already collaborated with Parimatch Ukraine to create viral commercials, including a recent campaign for FC Juventus with key players from the club. Exclusive music for the video from FC Chelsea was created by Yevhen Filatov – a popular Ukrainian composer, arranger, sound producer of ONUKA and The Elephants, as well as soloist and founder of the band The Maneken .
