The first Parimatch hockey Expert Club together with UHL

The first-ever expert club from UHL and Parimatch was on March 19 at PMHUB at 2 p.m. The discussion panel brought together well-known hockey experts and officials, as well as representatives of the relevant media to discuss the end of the regular season of the 2020/21 season.

The event, which aims to cover the most interesting topics of Ukrainian hockey, allowed to discuss the start of the upcoming playoffs in an interactive format and give predictions for the first matches of the decisive stage of the competition.

The experts unanimously noted that this season was very busy and bright. The density in the standings has increased, the competition in the championship has increased, there were no qualifying matches or rivals that could be easily beaten. Everyone fought, everyone bit and fought for a place to the last.

UHL General Director Serhiy Varlamov summed up the regular UHL-Parimatch championship:

The newcomers of the season brought a lot of interest. For me personally, Kramatorsk was a discovery – I was surprised by this club. Sokol’s achievements speak for themselves, but Mariupol  was able to play really great matches. I think a lot of people will agree with me, it was the best season in the history of the UHL, so the playoffs ahead will be very unpredictable.

The interactive format of the Expert Club allowed to communicate with the top players of UHL clubs – according to ZOOM, ones of the most effective forwards of the regular championship – Andriy Sigarev (Donbas) and Andriy Denyskin (Kremenchuk) joined the experts.

Speakers and journalists also assessed the chances of the teams in the playoffs and gave their predictions for the opening matches of the quarterfinals, which will bring together “Kremenchuk” with “Bilyi Bars”, “Sokil” with “Mariupol” and “Kramatorsk” with “Dnipro”. And representative of Parimatch Vadym Misiura noted the importance of such a hockey Expert Club and summarized the results:

By presenting the Hockey Expert Club, we are expanding our partnership with UHL. We have been cooperating with the Ukrainian Hockey League for five years and during this time we have managed to achieve good results. Largely due to the fact that the UHL has a professional team of managers.

In the UHL-Parimatch championship, three newcomers have appeared this season, Kyiv’s Sokil, Kramatorsk and Mariupol. The interest in hockey in these cities is growing, and this year we have already managed to hold a “Training with a star” in Kyiv and Mariupol, as well as in Ternopil. Parimatch and UHL do not stop there, we still have something to please the fans
