Ganna Rizatdinova in the special project “Make a mistake to win” about the real price of the Olympic medal

“Make a mistake to win” is a new special project of the main patron of Ukrainian sports Parimatch and the publication Na chasi. Within the project, representatives of Ukrainian sports talk about what they could not cope with in their time and what life lessons they learned from their failures.

Ukrainian gymnast, bronze medalist of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Ganna Rizatdinova exclusively for Na chasi told about the difficult path in sports, studying at the famous Deryugin School and the real price of an Olympic medal.

I can’t put into words how I felt when I was awarded a medal. It seemed I left myself on that carpet. I raised my head and said, “Thank God you saved me from all accidents.” It was an absolute peak of happiness

The multiple winner of the World and European Championships openly said that she almost missed her childhood due to constant training, did not play with her peers and worked each training to be praised by Iryna Deryugina.
