CEO of Parimatch Ukraine, Natalia Gilevich told in an interview with “NV” about the difficulties of starting the company
One of the most authoritative publications of Ukraine “Novoe Vremya” spoke with CEO of Parimatch Ukraine, Natalia Gilevych about important processes within the company and external challenges.
The Parimatch brand has been known in Ukraine for decades. Back in February, the company received a license for an online casino and, a month later, a basic bookmaking license. At the time of recording the interview, the Ukrainian Parimatch brought to the Ukrainian budget almost half of the funds from the legalization of gambling – 131.4 million hryvnias but has not yet started working in the new market.
Natalia Gilevych, CEO of Ukrainian Parimatch, told NV Business why, after the legalization of the gambling business, it is still slowing down, about the volume of the market and those who determine its fate. For her, this is the first interview as a CEO of a betting company.
There are only a few real sports products in Ukraine that can be called business. Therefore, all our support for sports is closer to patronage. Unfortunately, today we cannot get from the Ukrainian sports product what European and American brands provide. The company supports sports, realizing that this difficult and long way of forming the whole industry will bear fruit in the future.
