Parimatch Ukraine has signed a Memorandum of the Ukrainian Gambling Council on gambling advertising
Parimatch Ukraine has signed a Memorandum of the Ukrainian Gambling Council on advertising of gambling, trademarks and other intellectual property rights. The document was initiated by the specialized association Ukrainian Gambling Council, which unites the largest operators of the gambling market in Ukraine. The purpose of the Memorandum is to unite the efforts of all participants to establish common approaches to the application of legislation on advertising and sponsorship.
CEO of Parimatch Ukraine, Natalia Gilevych expressed her opinion on an important step in the field:
As the first and so far the only betting company licensed in Ukraine, we feel responsible and ready to set an example as an industry leader. We are ready to continue building a transparent business in Ukraine. That is why we have agreed on uniform rules for the production, placement and distribution of advertising for all gambling organizers who will join the Memorandum. I am convinced that the signing of the first official agreement of its kind on adherence to common approaches in advertising is a necessary step towards establishing the principles of mutual respect and equality among market players.
Already at the stage of approval of the text of the Memorandum, Parimatch Ukraine has brought all advertising manifestations to the adopted standards, which reduce the amount of gambling advertising, add a warning text.
Our main task is to develop gambling according to the principles of responsible gaming, to make gambling a kind of leisure, and advertising meets both legal norms and unified approaches adopted by the professional community. And most importantly to be safe.
Among the main principles approved by the document: the content of advertising, channels of its placement, the content and order of placement of the warning text, the quality of Internet resources for advertising activities of companies, compliance with the principles of responsible gambling. A similar approach was applied to the placement and content of sponsorship information.
10 more national gambling operators joined the Memorandum.
These funds will be used to purchase 10,000 sets of military uniforms for border guards.
