Parimatch was the first in Ukraine to pay for a license

“Parimatch” LLC has issued a license to organize and conduct bookmaking activities. The company paid 108 million hryvnias to the state budget for the first year.

The Press Office of Commissions for the regulation of gambling and lotteries informed this. The official source also added that the information was confirmed by the State Treasury.

Thus, Parimatch became the first operator in Ukraine to receive a license to carry out bookmaking activities.

According to the law on gambling, all proceeds will be used to support medicine, sports, science, culture and education of the country. This way gambling operators support the development of the national economy and declare themselves as a socially responsible business.

We will remind, the legalization process was initiated by the President of Ukraine, and also supported by the deputy case in August of last year. The law introduces mandatory national licensing of gambling operators and a system of online monitoring of the activities of all entities in the industry.
