Today we need to hold such events to encourage young people to lead an active lifestyle. Such trainings not only encourage children, but also remind everyone that Ukraine has such a glorious sport as hockey.
During the second part of the training, the hockey players were joined by journalists, who, under the supervision of the legendary defender, did a penalty shot Representatives of the press together with young hockey players held a master class on skating, showed the technique of possession washer and stick . After the game, the participants of the event received autographs from the legends of Ukrainian hockey, as well as took photos with the Cup, which Sokil won during the final match of the Ukrainian Hockey Cup. And the students of hockey schools were also presented with gifts from Parimatch Foundation.
Parimatch Foundation spokeswoman Angela Fokina spoke about the initiative:
Training with a hockey star Oleksiy Zhytnyk is a social collaboration of the Foundation with HC Sokil, thanks to which we draw as much attention as possible to sports culture and popularization of winter sports. Today, children from different hockey clubs were able to train with the legend. Such events are usually very motivating for young athletes, allow them to see idols and imitate them. And for the children who watched and cheered for the players, there is a good motivation to immerse themselves in sports. Today’s training is an event that will be remembered for a long time by both players and fans. After all, parents with children who came to watch the game saw that everyone can try themselves on the ice. And our Christmas rink can help in this, because every day it is open to everyone.
The rink works for everyone, regardless of age and ability to skate until February 14 . At the time of opening, it already had about 14.5 thousand visitors . Special attention is paid to children with disabilities and mental disorders. Therefore, regular inclusive training with a professional trainer is conducted for them. In doing so, the Parimatch Foundation breaks down barriers and stereotypes that winter sports are inaccessible to children with disabilities.
As part of the charity program of the Parimatch Foundation, a motivational training with a professional boxer took place.
Everyone will be able to get on the rink regardless of age and ability to skate.
The champion met with children who participated in the programs "Sports Mentor" and "Yes, I can!".
