Parimatch Foundation held a training for children in the smallest city in Ukraine
On June 5, the international charity Parimatch Foundation held an event as part of its own project “Sports Mentor”. This time a new partner joined the project, it was FC Arsenal-Uhniv. More than twenty children took part in the training.
Thus, the fund continued to expand its geography. The open training was held in the smallest city of Ukraine, Uhniv, located in the Lviv region. Parimatch Foundation has confirmed its intentions and goal – to care and involve children in sports in every corner of the country.
During the event, the children were presented with sets of football uniforms, boots, balls, as well as the necessary equipment for training. As part of the cooperation, the charity fund plans to support FC Arsenal-Uhniv on a systematic basis.
The “Sports Mentor” program is not just a training, it is an opportunity for children to strive for more, believe in themselves and get a chance for self-realization. The Parimatch Foundation will continue to involve new cities in the events. We want all children in every corner of Ukraine to play sports and have everything they need. Representatives of business and the state must join forces to provide for these children, – emphasizes the representative of the Parimatch Foundation in Ukraine, Vadym Misyura.
“Sports mentor” through sports adapts children to social life, regardless of their financial status and life circumstances. Exercises are used as a tool to help children develop such qualities as discipline, self-confidence and teamwork. Very often, sports for children becomes the only opportunity to forget about problems and feel their inner strength. Also, the coach is a key figure in the lives of young athletes. He can become a mentor, a positive example for children and a guide to adult life.
We truly thank the Parimatch Foundation team for helping our children realize their dream of becoming footballers, providing them with the necessary uniforms and other equipment. We are grateful for the holiday created in the smallest city of Ukraine, – thanked Lyubov Osmilovska, director of the Uhniv Agricultural and Construction Lyceum.
Therefore, the task of the “Sports Mentor” is to show that every child can achieve their goals, regardless of external circumstances, with the support of mentors. The project demonstrates faith in children and that thanks to their efforts and timely support of adults, each participant of the program “Sports Mentor” will be able to achieve their goal.
As part of the charity program of the Parimatch Foundation, a motivational training with a professional boxer took place.
The Foundation, in partnership with HC Sokil, has initiated the Training with a Star project for the second time.
Everyone will be able to get on the rink regardless of age and ability to skate.
