Early in the morning in Kyiv Ukrainian canoeists Liudmila Luzan and Anastasia Chetverikova won silver in the finals of the Olympics in duo at a 500 m distance. Our girls lost only to the Chinese duo for about two seconds. Ukrainians showed time 1.57,499 s.

For Liudmila Luzan, this is the second medal of the Olympics. Earlier, she won bronze in the canoe sprint single.

Greetings to all of Ukraine. I dedicate this medal to my coach. He showed me that a medal and an Olympic pedestal are possible, – said Anastasia Chetverikova after the swim.
