Liudmila Luzan and Anastasia Chetverikova won silver at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo
Early in the morning in Kyiv Ukrainian canoeists Liudmila Luzan and Anastasia Chetverikova won silver in the finals of the Olympics in duo at a 500 m distance. Our girls lost only to the Chinese duo for about two seconds. Ukrainians showed time 1.57,499 s.
For Liudmila Luzan, this is the second medal of the Olympics. Earlier, she won bronze in the canoe sprint single.
Greetings to all of Ukraine. I dedicate this medal to my coach. He showed me that a medal and an Olympic pedestal are possible, – said Anastasia Chetverikova after the swim.

This is incredible happiness. We did it. We dreamed so much, we wanted it so much for so many years. And here we came to this. We are in the top three in the world. This is something unreal, I can’t believe it. This is the best feeling for an athlete.
