Dmytro Mytrofanov defended the WBO Oriental title at the K2 Promotions boxing evening

In the main boxing match of K2 Promotions in ACCO International Dmytro Mytrofanov (11-0-1, 5 KOs) successfully defended the title of WBO Oriental Champion in the first middleweight. He won the difficult confrontation between Rillivan Babatunde (13-1, 8 KOs) from Nigeria by a unanimous decision of the judges. Counts of judges’ notes after the end of the 10th round are: 99-91, 98-92, 99-90.

It was very difficult. The first protection. Very big excitement. Six months have passed since my championship fight, where I won this title. Weight gain was easier because it’s summer, there is a coach, there is a nutritionist. The task was to miss less, to strike more blows to finishe fight faster, – noted live Dmytro Mytrofanov on Megogo after his victory.

The Ukrainian also admitted that Babatunda’s blows are heavier than his previous rival. Byfield hit much easier, just threw up his hands and clenched his fist. Rillivan also put strength in blows.

Next I think about the championship fight for the original WBO title, this is the task of my promoter Oleksandr Krasyuk. I hope that in the near future my dreams will come true. I am confident in my abilities. I go on to become the World Champion among professionals.

This evening, Dmytro had a lot of support in the hall, a special atmosphere was created by fans from his native city, Chernihiv. The general partner of the event Parimatch also helped with this, in addition to a lot of entertainment waiting for guests in the breaks between fights, the company has created an original outfit for boxers.

His brotherKhusseyn Baysangurov (19-1-0, 17 KOs) defeated Nika Gavajava from Georgia by technical knockout in the third round (12-22-3, 6 KOs).
