Apparatuses of artificial ventilation of lungs already in hospitals of Chernivtsi region!
The world continues to fight the epidemic of coronavirus COVID-19. Most countries live under quarantine conditions, and medical facilities continue to accept all new patients requiring treatment for coronavirus. And Ukraine is no exception. One of the regions most affected by the pandemic is Chernivtsi, where 5,404 patients are currently recorded. 3,688 patients recovered.
On July 22, the International Charitable Foundation Parimatch Foundation delivered artificial ventilation devices AHP300 manufactured by Allied Healthcare Inc to Chernivtsi Oblast Children's Clinical Hospital and chernivtsi Regional Clinical Hospital.
The Foundation also, from the beginning of the quarantine, helps doctors and medical institutions fight COVID-19. During this time, personal protective equipment was transferred — a total of 500 respirators, 1200 surgical gloves and 500 protective suits were provided.
Mykola Chepil, Chief Physician of Chernivtsi Oblast Children's Clinical Hospital: "Patients in need of hardware ventilation continue to come to us in serious condition. There is a child in the intensive care unit, a year and two months old, with suspected coronavirus infection. We expect the disease to increase as quarantine is mitigated. In such circumstances, we need constant support and re-equipment, because resources are spent, equipment wears off. Of course, at the very beginning, the situation was catastrophic, but until we still can't provide every workplace with a ventilator."
"Today, the whole world has united around solving the global problem — COVID-19. One of the most affected regions in terms of the number of diseases is Chernivtsi. That is why some of the ventilator devices were transferred to medical institutions in this region. And it is very important that the children's medical institution received support," commented Kateryna Belorussian, President of the Parimatch Foundation.
