Alla Cherkasova won a bronze medal in women’s wrestling at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo
Ukrainian wrestler Alla Cherkasova won in bronze final of Olympics in Tokyo in the category up to 68 kg. She put her rival flat, the winner of the 2016 Olympics, the Japanese Sarah Doshi, on the back long before the end of the prescribed time.
Immediately after that, even before the official announcement of the result of the referee, she screamed and cried out with joy and happiness – this is the first Olympic award of the 32-year-old Ukrainian. She competed with Sarah Doha from Japan for the Olympics. The Japanese is the Rio 2016 Olympic champion. And in the semifinals Cherkasova lost to world champion Tamyra Mensah-Stock.

If I thanked everyone, three hours would not be enough. For such a sporting term so many people who have been around at different times. I am so grateful to God for this medal. I am very happy, – Alla didn’t restrain her emotions after the victory.
